There is an urgent need for urban environments to be flood resilient due to increasing urbanization and climate change. 

This can be addressed by adopting nature-based solutions such as green roofs and gable gardens in private households. However, lack of knowledge and awareness among urban residents is a barrier to adoption of such solutions. 

Serious gaming has been shown to be an effective tool to increase awareness and support exploration of solutions. In this serious game, we invite players to the fictional urban area called SUDSbury where they are challenged to tackle flooding by implementing different solutions. Over six rounds, players must prevent flooding in SUDSbury while also ensuring good liveability.
