Abstract Summary
The Marineterrein Amsterdam is a test area and city quarter for learning, working and living in a liveable city. In the special and flexible approach, the test area is gradually developing into a city quarter where there is room for open innovation, special forms of living, sports, recreation and greenery. There is a lot of need for more green in the city, but what do we mean by green, and how do we combine the different needs. During this tour, we will take you along the various green experiments at the Marineterrein. From a new green design of old parking spaces to regulating crowds with grass. How can we manage urban green spaces together with the people of Amsterdam? What are the successes and challenges?
